I’m rostered on for an all-day stint at the school swimming sports today, at the Carnegie outdoor pool.
Very little shelter.
Hundreds of kids, all seeking the very little shelter.
There are gazillions of better ways I could spend this day if I wasn’t still working…
Oh yes, I think that often: of all the other things I could being doing!
It was a horrible day. It POURED (thank God I have a big umbrella!!) and I was on my feet for the entire day.
My face is bright red from windburn and I was exhausted by the time I got home.
I’m over it.
