Today was a travel day. We flew a massive 25 minutes from Chitwan back to Kathmandu.
One of the first people I saw was this cool kid.

Today is a Hindu festival for women.

Raj said that yesterday the women all go to their parents’ places, and today they get dressed in red saris and fast.

There were red saris absolutely everywhere.

Once we got to the hotel, we went out for lunch and then wandered around, doing some shopping.

This all looks very serene… until you read the sign…

It’s a screaming goat being eaten by a crocodile.
omg.

I didn’t partake.

People in Nepal really love their colours.

I wanted to take a few shots of the crazy traffic here, but I was too busy dodging and weaving to be able to stop and get a shot.

It occurred to me that this would be a great place to get a duck down jacket. I tell you without a word of a lie, Macy gave me a masterclass in haggling. She is fantastic. I ended up getting a goose down jacket for $36 AUD.
Insane

Tomorrow we fly to Bhutan. I’m excited. After listening to a Trevor Noah podcast, Bhutan was why I booked this trip.

Dad joke of the day:
